LEGO Home Tuition returns!

As Lockdown 3.0 comes to an end, like everyone else, I’ve really been looking forward to the day that we can go back to in-person sessions. I’ve been following the guidance closely and as of April 12th, as a tutor I can finally offer in person home sessions, either at your home or mine.

The health and safety of your children is of the utmost importance to me, so I will be taking the following steps to ensure that I minimise the risk of Covid-19 transmission :

  • Regular washing and sanitisation of hands
  • All borrowed kit will be assigned only to your household and where it is reassigned to other households will be quarantined for 7 days or sanitised before being reassigned
  • I take weekly Covid-19 tests and will cancel sessions with a full refund if these come back positive
  • Increased ventilation when running sessions in my home

Online sessions are still available and will continue to be for anyone not in or around Kingston-upon-Thames.

School sessions

Beyond Blocks is currently holding back from delivering after school activities in school settings.

Understandably, many schools in the area are playing it safe and not restarting their after-school club provision except in some cases where only outdoor activities are resuming. As LEGO Robotics is usually an indoor activity, we’ve decided to hold back from providing after school club provision until September.

Currently Andy is running some sessions with Lime Tree school during the school day, aligned with the curriculum.

If you are interested in getting Beyond Blocks in to your school as an additional activity to bring STEM to life or as an after school club, get in touch with us!

Out of school sessions

Beyond Blocks is currently searching for a venue to run small group LEGO Robotics sessions, as Out of School clubs are now permitted.

If you are interested in having your children attend when we open, please get in touch and let us know!
