Advanced LEGO Robotics club sessions

Now that your child has mastered programming and LEGO building to solve complex problems, it’s time to see how they fare against the best in the country and maybe The World.

Beyond Blocks welcomes students from the age of 9 to work in teams to design robots that solve multiple complex problems and pit their programming and problem-solving skills against other teams of LEGO Robot designers as we take on national and international robot competitions.

To join these sessions, your child should have an excellent grasp of programming and problem solving, preferably gained from at least one year in our intermediate sessions and be at least 9 years of age.

We currently take part in FIRST LEGO League (FLL) and World Robot Olympiad (WRO). As well as coaching, Andy has experience of being a Referee, Judge and Head Judge at FLL and is one of a handful of Key Volunteers for the IET FLL team in the UK.
